Decent car. The 3.9 is a good engine, but I’d prefer the DOHC 3.6. The 5800rpm redline here doesn’t cut it for me.

man it should be eaton charged!

  • gopedxr7 says:

buy what you like end of story.

  • SchafdoggGTO says:

Well… this pisses me off. I buy my 2000 Grand Prix GTP for $6,000 and have to pay it off, but yet my girlfriend gets a 2008 G6 GTP for nothing!

  • Zorrachus says:

I said most, I did not say all.

BTW, if you buy any GMC product now (2009) in midst of their uncertain future, then you have a screw loose.

  • adiosk8r91 says:

dude are you fucking kidding me?!? i get fucking 33 mpg on the highway in my G6 dont say they get 20mpg if you dont own one

  • adiosk8r91 says:

this pretty much took over the Grand Am’s place, still has its problems but i’ve never ridden in such a comfortable car its amazing and it hugs the road, when i drive this car i know im in control

  • adiosk8r91 says:

um actually no its not my first car thank you i own 2 vehicles a 89′ mustang gt and this car. sure its fast but thats not the main reason why i love it, i love it because how responsive it is, how comfortable it is, and how stylish it is

  • Zorrachus says:

why do you love the car then? Because its fast? Its your first car? what’s the reason?

  • Zorrachus says:

Yes, actually, and if Pontiac made quality cars, which don’t exist, I might add, then I wonder why people buy a random car, especially a pontiac.

  • Zorrachus says:

Actually, I own the Honda Odyssey, which costs around $40 000 and the Honda Accord, neither of which are boxy.

Gas is cheap, who the hell cares about gas mileage when my van gets over 30 mph? Only a scant few of gm’s products have the mph of a ford fusion. Most of them are below 20 mph.

  • adiosk8r91 says:

I agree, it has an amazing 3.5L V6 but has a bunch of faults. such as faulty power steering, bad tranny’s, faulty ignition, and their brake pads go out like none other. but i still love the car doesnt matter what problems it has, and i own one

  • adiosk8r91 says:

yeah you know why you buy hondas, toyota’s, and nissans? because their cheap boxy. i mean come on look at the Nissan Cube that was the worst thing Nissan ever built, and the Honda Clarity? sure its nice, but its only sold in southern california, so they made no money off of those, oh and how about the Honda Ridgeline worst Chevy Avalanche knock off. as far as for MPG Ford Fusion just took the imports off the charts for getting 45mpg at 750miles to a tank!

  • Turquoise66 says:

what? they are saying this is Pontiac worse car?

  • Zorrachus says:

no it is not. Take a look at consumer reports.

  • Zorrachus says:

    No it isnt lol.

  • Zorrachus says:

Please don’t lie. Every single pontiac model has failed in reliability. You don’t buy pontiacs for reliability, you buy hondas, toyotas, and nissans.

  • hotboyfsb says:

7 sec with the auto ….the 6 speed can do much better

  • Turquoise66 says:

it is. they say Pontiac came out with it’s greatest cars at the wrong time.

  • vernong1992 says:

I love the look of the car, I wish it is is as reliable as how well it looks though..

  • MidnightNSavannah says:

I think you mean the G8.

  • ReidHenderson says:

I love the new G6’s great looking cars but why didn’t they just name it the Grand AM they about look like one and are basically the same thing

  • eemiri says:

please don’t be stupid…… european cars aren’t safe wtf…… VW, volvo, Saab just a few affordable cars cuz i won’t include bmw and merc cuz its not fair to….

  • benzbubblecat says:

I really have no idea where you’re getting this from
