My steering wheel on my 2000 pontiac bonneville is clicking do you know why?
I have a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville with around 80,000 miles. It has been a great car but recently The steering wheel has started to click loudly when i turn the wheel. Can anyone tell me why its doing this and maybe how much to fix it?

sounds like cv axle is bad bout 80 bucks for the axle (from parts store) and about 150 to have a mechanic to install
you could have a problem withe the mechanism that locks the steering wheel when the key is in the off position. you want to get this checked out now if not sooner. if it locks up and you are in motion, you will have an accident.
