Like a old school version of the Solstice.

  • mfreeman7821 says:

Well I mean IMAO I wanted Pontiac to survive long enough for a new Trans Am but if they were dead weight to GM than I they did right. That G6 was okay and the G8.

  • KR850 says:

yes Cadillac in the 80’s but it would be dumb for GM to cut that now with the CTS gaining ground

  • KR850 says:

There is a group of dealers that want to buy the pontiac and in logo, but gm turned them down in May, not they might do it. A Pontiac free from GM that would be great

It really sucks that pontiac is gone. They always put out cool cars. (Other than that stupid ass Aztec) It was the incompetent managment that killed it. But why Pontiac? Why not the GMC brand? Can you tell me any vehicle GMC made that was more than a re-badged Chevy? And Saturn was a dumb idea from the beginning.

  • mfreeman7821 says:

Chevy had the trucks , so that probably had a part in it. I think Cadillac should have been the one to bite the dust.

Don’t blame him. Blame the Bush Administration & GM. I miss my “new” 87′ Fiero

I liked the version that had the four cyl. engine. Seems there was less problems with it.

  • Horrorshow655321 says:

Yes I agree, 1preludes, get rid of those stupid fucking Saturns, Pontiacs should live forever.

  • 1preludes says:

Thats sad that there really going away. If anything kill that stupid ass saturn line. Pontiac has history and has always been know for the sportier GM side. FUCK

The Fiero was a real missed opportunity for GM. A great concept, some exciting ideas, but not fully developed when it hit the market. Shoddy interiors and materials, unrefined drivetrains, and poor reliability killed it.

It wasn’t the UAW or GM’s design staff that killed Pontiac (and GM for that matter), it was the short-sighted nimrods in management who ran the joint into the ground.

    Sad. Very sad.

  • Larommi71 says:

LOL, that car has not been made in over 20 years. I highly doubt that is the car that killed Pontiac.

GM did it and should have pulled the plug on Chevy but since it is the most known brand of the GM family it stayed. The G series cars are some of the best cars put out in years and look far better than their Chevy counterparts.

lol, these cars look like a firebird with down syndrome.

    R.I.P. Pontiac
    1926-2010

  • UrbanArtifact says:

    I have a 1984 version lol.

  • RT909 says:

You have just taken a look at the car that killed Pontiac

  • jmorris023 says:

Fiero had marginally better handling, MR2 had marginally better acceleration. Basically if both cars were 5spd top of the line models, it came down to driver skill. MR2 had better reliability, but it cost $3K more at the time.

I just bought a gold 87 GT! I’ve been wanting one of these cars ever since I first learned about them.

  • SuperTexasRed says:

What were the other two and what happened with them?
