How does a 2WD Pontiac Aztek drive in bad conditions?
How does a 2WD Pontiac Aztek drive in bad conditions?
Frankly i think AWD should have been on ALL the Azteks made, as they are supposed to be the ALL AROUND sport vehicle.
Anyway i would like to know how A 2WD model drives in snow/ice/rain- basically in bad driving conditions. The model i’m looking at dosn’t have Traction Control either.
If anyone has personal experience with a 2WD Aztek driving in bad conditions i would like to hear it. Thanks.

Hi; I would neve buy an rear wheel drive for snow conditions.Front wheel or even all wheel tracktion is the best. All wheel only locks in when one of your wheels slip.Great choice.OK ….JW
It’ll get stuck on a dog turd.
It will handle just like any other front wheel drive car. Pretty good with regular all season tires, much better with winter tires. I have a friend with a GM minivan (same chassis as Aztek), they tell me it’s a good winter car.
If you drive in bad weather much, put winter tires on your car whether it’s 2wd or awd, because which wheels are driven won’t help you stop, and that’s when most people have accidents, because they can’t stop, not because they can’t go.
